Marble Shivling White
₹399
Our Marble Shiva murtis are hand-carved from a single block of white marble by master craftsmen of Jaipur and finished by hand. Shiva — Mahadev — is worshipped as the serene ascetic and cosmic dancer, the transformer who dissolves the old to renew.
Every marble idol is hand-carved from a single block of white marble by master craftsmen of Jaipur, then finished by hand with fine detailing and, on request, gold or meenakari work. Marble is prized for its cool purity and is the classic choice for a home-mandir murti you keep for generations. Shiva represents the transformative power that dissolves the old to make way for the new — destruction in service of renewal. As Nataraja he dances the rhythm of the cosmos; as the Shivling he is the formless infinite. Daily jalabhishek with water and bilva leaves, and the mantra “Om Namah Shivaya”, are at the heart of his worship.
Yes. Both are kept and worshipped at home. A small Shivling (palm-size) is ideal for daily abhishek; serene seated/meditating Shiva murtis and Shiv Parivar sets suit the mandir. Keep them clean and offer water and bilva daily.
Nataraja depicts Shiva as the cosmic dancer whose Tandava sustains the rhythm of creation and dissolution. The ring of fire is the cosmos, the drum is creation, the raised hand is protection, and the dwarf underfoot is ego/ignorance.
Offer water (jalabhishek), bilva (bel) leaves, white flowers, sandalwood and dhatura, light a diya and chant “Om Namah Shivaya”. Mondays and Pradosh are especially auspicious; Mahashivratri is the great night of Shiva.
Yes — our marble idols are hand-carved from natural white marble, not resin or marble-dust composite unless stated. Each piece is unique, with subtle natural veining, and finished by hand.
